Our lab currently relies heavily on the Adeno-associated viruses (AAV) platform for in vivo gene delivery. AAVs enables the delivery of the gene of interest or RNAi or gRNA to specific cells in-vivo. Its lack of pathogenicity and ability to show persistent expression in various tissues and cells without integrating to the host genome makes it an attractive vector platform.
Our lab produces different AAV serotypes and we have the capacity to generate up to 400 plates of AAVs a week to support the different projects in the lab and collaboration projects across Singapore.
