Zenia is our lab manager. She coordinates all of our external collaborators, and internally, she manages the lab budget, schedules the multiple meetings and team events. Zenia is also responsible for the placement of new students and interns in the lab, closely monitoring the structural planning of the team. She looks after the welfare of the group, managing and allocating resources accordingly. Zenia is also our sequencing library constructor extraordinaire for our RNA and DNA sequencing libraries, and now has single cell technology under her belt. In her spare time, she runs, dances, goes rock climbing, teaches children how to swim, and having visited all of 4 continents, enjoys travelling widely.
