Peter also consults other collaborators who require assistance in animal studies, often travelling off-campus both locally and abroad to assist in setting up and establishing projects and protocols involving surgery, echocardiogram, breeding strategies and development of animal experiments.

Overseeing day to day operations for the lab in NUS, Peter also leads the team through safety and financial audits. His portfolio includes grant management and reporting to grant awarding bodies. Peter is also active in organising team bonding events, including BBQs, overseas team trips and charity work.

Peter graduated with a Masters degree from NTU, completing a full-year research project during the program. His other interests are in geology and epidemiology, while continuing his interest is zoological health. Peter is kept busy outside of his work by his two young boys while looking forward to an alternative life of backpacking.
