Mick is a PhD Graduate Student at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, and an award holder of the Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple Graduate Research Scholarship. His research interests include molecular signaling pathways and transcriptional regulation in the myocardium. He is also interested in functional characterization of genetic regulatory elements using CRISPR/Cas9 tools, and understanding chromatin interactions in the cardiomyocytes. Mick is an avid street photographer who enjoys capturing beautiful portraiture of people.  A guitarist and love for music, he is also one who seizes every opportunity to rock on the stage.
