Email:

Michelle completed her PhD in National University of Singapore, where she studied transcription factor and gene regulation using the organism model C. elegans. Having strong passion in basic science, she is now studying novel genes and their putative role in cardiovascular disease. Using knockout cell lines and mice, she hopes to elucidate novel players in the disease pathology of heart failure, and characterize their role through functional analysis and validation. Outside of the lab, Michelle enjoys exploring good food, swimming, playing the piano and most of all, spending time with her cat.
